Student Parking

All student drivers are permitted to park in spaces marked with white lines.  Spaces marked with yellow lines are STAFF parking ONLY.  Students are not to park in spaces marked for visitors.  Students that are not parked in their designated area or that do not have their parking hanger visible are subject to being ticketed.

Night of Reflection/Graduation: Anyone willing to try out for Senior Night of Reflection and/or Graduation, sign-ups will be available in the Front Office.  We are looking for speakers as well as performers in music and dance.  See Mrs. Bowers or Mrs. Polito if you have questions.

OGT Week

** Due to OGT week, we are following a shortened daily schedule.  All announcements are posted on the window of the front office and have been combined for this week. **

College Signing

Trey Walden will be signing a letter of intent on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 with University of Findlay.  He will be signing at 3:30 in the gallery.

Gay-Straight Alliance

We will meet this Monday, March 18th to plan the Day of Silence and make rainbow bracelets.  See you at 3 p.m. in room 131.

Seniors – College Visit

A representative from the University of Kentucky will be in the Guidance Office on Tuesday, March 19th during 2nd period. If you would like to attend, please sign up in the Guidance Office.

ACT Testing: Tomorrow is the last day to register for the April 13 ACT test.  Register online at www.actstudent.org  or pick up a registration packet in the Pupil Services Office.

Online Health: All assignments for Unit 3 must be completed by midnight tomorrow, March 8th, including the Unit 3 test.  Pacing calendars for March and April are available in room 134.

Reach Out and Read: Student Council is collecting gently used books for the Reach Out and Read program at Nationwide Children's Hospital.  Help us put books in the hands of children who are growing up without them.  Books should be for infants and children through preschool.  Please no books with torn pages, printed prior to 1990, or that carry any political or religious message.  Collection boxes are in the Front Office and the Clinic.

ACT Testing:Friday, March 8th is the last day to register for the April 13th ACT test. Register online at www.actstudent.org, or pick up a registration packet in the Pupil Services Office.

Congratulations: This past weekend, the Westerville Indoor Percussion Drumline, made up of students across all three Westerville high schools, established itself as one of the top "Scholastic A" groups in the Midwest. Please congratulate the team on placing as a finalist in one of the hardest regional competitions in the nation. The team is directed and organized by Nick Pelfrey and Jordi Vilanova.  THe next perfomance for the team will be the MEPA contest Westerville Central on March 23rd. Being right here in Westerville,  this is an excellent opportunity to come check out some high energy performances by drumlines across the Midwest!

2013 Westerville Summer Camp and Activities Expo: The Westerville Parent Council will host the 2013 Summer Camp/Activities Expo on March 13th from 5:30-8:00 p.m. here at Westerville North. This event will feature camps and activities for students of all ages, as well as camps for special needs students.Vendors have donated prizes that will be given away every 15 minutes. Come out and enjoy this FREE event!

AP Testing: AP testing money is due to the Guidance Office by tomorrow.


Sports

Crew: The Westerville Crew team will be in the commons during all lunch periods today with information for those interested in joining.

Volleyball: Tryouts and practices for the Boys Volleyball season will begin next week.  The first practice will be Monday, March 4th at 5:00 in the main gym.  Tryouts are open to anyone interested in playing -- no experience is required.


Clubs

Dance Club: I AM D.A.N.C.E. will have class today from 3-4 p.m.  If you have your paperwork, please bring it to class.
