Daily Announcements -April 5, 2018
Graduation: Yard Banners are for sale until 5/10 in the athletic office (available for pickup on 5/17).
Interact Club: There is an Interact Club meeting on 4/9 to clean out one of the memorial gardens out front. Please wear clothes suitable for yardwork, and bring a friend!
Student Council: There is a Student Council meeting tomorrow 4/5 in Mrs. Young's room (232).
Senior Awards: An updated list of Merit, Medallion, President and Honor awards is posted in Pupil Services. See your counselor with questions.
Poetry Slam: The Silhouette invites everyone to attend the Poetry Slam for National Poetry Month tomorrow 4/5 at 7:00pm in the WLC. Students who would like to perform should see Mrs. Baryon.
Sci-Fi Club: There is a Sci-Fi Club meeting tomorrow 4/5 at 2:15pm in room 240. We will be discussing Ready Player One and the upcoming Infinity War!
Medallion Scholarship: Seniors can apply for the Medallion Scholarship Fund by 4/15 on their Facebook Page.
College Meeting: There is a College Meeting for underclassmen students and parents on 4/19 at 7:00pm in the auditorium to discuss college and military options. Be sure to attend so you can get ahead of the game!
ACT/SAT: All students should take the ACT & SAT starting 2nd semester Junior year to improve their chances of college acceptance. There is a final SAT offered at North on 5/5, and the deadline to register is 4/6 at CollegeBoard.org.
Superlatives: Seniors can turn in Superlative forms to Ms. Hines (room 124) until 4/6.
CCP: Those who were unable to attend CCP night can watch this Video detailing the benefits and risks of CCP. Those interested in taking CCP classes next year must turn in the Intent to Participate form by 4/6.
Powder Puff: The WNHS girls Powder Puff game is on 4/17. The Freshman-Senior team will play the Junior-Sophomore team for a chance to play the female staff, while male students cheer them on. See your advisory teacher for more info.
