Daily Announcements - April 9, 2018

 

Graduation: Yard Banners are for sale until 5/10 in the athletic office (available for pickup on 5/17).

Student Clubs 

Interact Club: There is an Interact Club meeting today 4/9 to clean out one of the memorial gardens out front. Please wear clothes suitable for yardwork, and bring a friend!

Book Group: Since the Book of the Dust is in, we are going to start reading that first. If you need a copy, please stop by room 123. Happy reading! 

Blood Drive: Anyone interested in saving lives should sign up for the blood drive between 4/16-4/20 during lunch! The blood drive is on 4/17. See Mrs. Young in room 232 for details. 

Young Feminists: There is a Young Feminists meeting on 4/11 at 2:10pm in room 125. All are welcome. 

One Acts: Senior directed One Acts are from 4/12-4/14 at 7:00pm in the Warrior Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door. 

Pupil Services 

Medallion Scholarship: Seniors can apply for the Medallion Scholarship Fund by 4/15 on their Facebook Page

College Meeting: There is a College Meeting for underclassmen students and parents on 4/19 at 7:00pm in the auditorium to discuss college and military options. Be sure to attend so you can get ahead of the game!

ACT: Those taking the ACT on 4/14 must bring their ID card and Admission Ticket with you and arrive by 7:45am. 

Athletics 

 Powder Puff: The 4/17 Powder Puff game has been cancelled, and is rescheduled for the fall of 2018. Students who registered can pick up their form and payment in the main office later this week. 

Boys Soccer: There is a Boys Soccer meeting for players and parents tomorrow 4/10 at 7:00pm in the media center. Anyone interested in playing this fall should attend.
