Spread the Word: The Spread the Word to End the Word t-shirt design contest has begun! The winner will receive a free t-shirt and have their artwork displayed. See Mrs. Brill in room 156 for more info.
BPA: There is a BPA meeting on 1/31 after school in room 153. Please plan to attend.
GEM: If you would like to nominate a WCS staff member or volunteer for a Great Educator Mentor (GEM) Award, nomination forms are in the office and are due back by 2/9.
Financial Aid: Scholarships are available on these websites: Delaware County Foundation Scholarships, OSU Newark Scholarships, COTC Scholarships. Student Loans and need-based scholarships are available on the FAFSA website.
Europe Trip: There is an informational meeting for the France to Spain trip on 1/30 at 7:00pm in room 111. Trip is in summer of 2019, see Mrs. Leonard with questions.
Academic Info Night: The Academic Info Night & Activities Fair is on 2/1 at 6:30pm in the auditorium. Students and families in grades 8-11 are invited to learn more about freshman scheduling, career pathways, advanced classes, parent communication, and activities.
College Fair: The HBCU & Multicultural College Fair is on 2/22 from 3:00-6:00pm in South's commons. RSVP at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Community Service: If you need service hours, like working with kids, and enjoy the Zoo, you can volunteer at the Chili Open at the Zoo on 2/3. See Miss Stastny in room 241 if interested.
College Credit Plus: Students interested in learning about CCP, plan to attend a mandatory meeting on 1/30 at 7:00pm at Central. Current CCP students need to check the district website for the forms.
Drivers Ed: Prestige Driving Academy classes begin on 2/5. See their Flyer for more information.
Boys Lacrosse: There is a mandatory player & parent meeting on 1/30 at 7:00pm in the media center.
Baseball: All students interested in playing baseball needs to see Mr. Ring in his classroom by today 1/26 to get a hat size.
