Student Clubs & Athletics 

Theatre: The WNHS Theatre Department's musical production of Newsies opens today 3/15. $10 reserved seats are available for all 4 performances. Students can buy tickets during lunch. 

Gay-Straight Alliance: There is a GSA meeting on 3/18 in room 131 to plan the upcoming Day of Silence. 

Astronomy Club: There is an Astronomy Club meeting on 3/20 after school in room 238 including a presentation by guest speaker Dave Weaner about a lesser known lunar cycle!

In the Know: If you like fast-paced, Jeopardy-style games, then try out for the In the Know team on 3/21 at 2:10pm in room 238. Grades 9-10 can try out. See Mr. Johnston with questions. 

Pupil Services 

Scholarships: OSU Delaware Alumni Association Non-Endowed Scholarship 4/19. Democratic Robert B. Parker Scholarship 3/30. Medical Mutual $500 Scholarship 4/1.

Food Drive: This week is the Spread the Luck food drive to support Warm. The advisory that brings in the most canned goods (in increments of 5 each day) will win Schneiders donuts!

Air Force: A representative from the Air Force Academy will be in pupil services today 3/15 during 9th period is anyone is interested in getting more info about the USAF Academy. 

Principal for a Day: Next week starts our Principal for a Day Contest! Bring in change to decide who replaces Mr. Yancey. Will it be Henman, Brosius, Clegg or Mattioda? Spirit theme for 3/18 is Squad Goals. 

Diploma Awards: The Diploma Awards recipients list is posted on the Pupil Services office window. If you aren't listed and think you should be, see Mrs. Wilcox in Pupil Services. She will double-check.

Lifeguards: Columbus Pool Management Group will be at lunch on 3/18 to recruit lifeguards for the summer season. Come learn more about their hiring, training, and certification process. 

CCP: Students taking a CCP class next year need to complete all necessary steps on the District Website to enroll in CCP. If you didn't attend the December CCP meeting, you must watch this video and turn in the Intent to Participate Form by 4/5. See your counselor with questions. 

Cedar Point: Tickets for the Senior Cedar Point trip will be sold until 3/22 for $40. The trip is on 5/20. There is only enough space for 175 students, so get your ticket early! See Mr. Sands with questions.
