Daily Announcements - March 22, 2018

 

Graduation: Speaking & Musical tryouts for graduation & Senior Awards Night are on 4/5. Sign up in the office or with Mrs. Polito. Yard Banners are also for sale until 5/10 in the athletic office (available for pickup on 5/17).

Student Clubs 

Class Officers: Please continue turning in Class Officer forms. See Mrs. Young or Mrs. Muenks for details. Applications are due by tomorrow 3/23.

Spirit Week: It's time to pick a Principal for a Day! Donate in your advisories and during lunch. Don't forget that it's Faith Spirit Week, so be sure to check out the themes posted around the school!

Sci-Fi Club: There is a Sci-Fi Club meeting today 3/22 to discuss Tomb Raider and the upcoming Infinity War!

Odyssey: If you need something to read over Spring Break, get your copy of the Odyssey today 3/22! Available for $1 at lunch or from an Odyssey staff member. 

Pupil Services 

Medallion Scholarship: Seniors can apply for the Medallion Scholarship Fund by 4/15 on their Facebook Page

College Meeting: There is a College Meeting for underclassmen students and parents on 4/19 at 7:00pm in the auditorium to discuss college and military options. Be sure to attend so you can get ahead of the game!

Awards: To find out if you've earned the Merit Award, Medallion Award, President's Award, or Honors Diploma, check the list in Pupil Services. Talk with your counselor if you're not on the list but think you should be. 

Leadership Conference: There is a free Leadership Conference at OU this summer where you can meet other students from Central Ohio. See Miss Stastny in room 241 for an application (due back on 4/3).

Superlatives: Please complete Senior Superlative forms by tomorrow 3/23 and turn them in to your advisory teacher or Ms. Hines (room 124). 

CCP: Those who were unable to attend CCP night can watch this Video detailing the benefits and risks of CCP. Those interested in taking CCP classes next year must turn in the Intent to Participate form by 4/6. 

Athletics 

 Powder Puff: The WNHS girls Powder Puff game is on 4/17. The Freshman-Senior team will play the Junior-Sophomore team for a chance to play the female staff, while male students cheer them on. See your advisory teacher for more info.
