It is hard to believe but we are getting ready to enter the 4th quarter of our school year. We have just completed OGT week and are only one week away from Spring Break (March 25-29). As you know, we have enjoyed an incredible winter activities season together over the last few months. Both of our basketball programs earned OCC Championships, had Player of the Year (Simmons, Gibbs) honors, and Coach of the Year (Kloepfer, Thuman) honors. Trey Walden will be signing a letter of intent on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 with University of Findlay. He will be signing at 3:30 in the gallery.
ACT Testing: Tomorrow is the last day to register for the April 13 ACT test. Register online at www.actstudent.org or pick up a registration packet in the Pupil Services Office.
Online Health: All assignments for Unit 3 must be completed by midnight tomorrow, March 8th, including the Unit 3 test. Pacing calendars for March and April are available in room 134.

2013 Westerville Summer Camp and Activities Expo: The Westerville Parent Council will host the 2013 Summer Camp/Activities Expo on March 13th from 5:30-8:00 p.m. here at Westerville North. This event will feature camps and activities for students of all ages, as well as camps for special needs students.Vendors have donated prizes that will be given away every 15 minutes. Come out and enjoy this FREE event!
Juniors and Seniors: Class 101 is offering an ACT prep class during OGT week here at WNHS. This will allow students the opportunity to get four days (March 12-15) of ACT preparation within the normal school day. The cost for the four-day review is $50 and this includes a $20 Princeton Review Guide that each student will be able to keep at the conclusion of the week. Sign up in the Guidance Office by March 8th.
AP Testing: AP testing money is due to the Guidance Office by tomorrow.
Crew: The Westerville Crew team will be in the commons during all lunch periods today with information for those interested in joining.
Volleyball: Tryouts and practices for the Boys Volleyball season will begin next week. The first practice will be Monday, March 4th at 5:00 in the main gym. Tryouts are open to anyone interested in playing -- no experience is required.

We have our OMEA Solo & Ensemble Contest coming up. Mark your calendar for Saturday, February 16th. We will need lots of hands to make this day run smoothly. We have a planning and interest meeting next Thursday, January 17th at 7 pm in the choir room. We have a couple of chair positions still open.

- January 22: the Course Description Guide will be available online to staff, counselors, students and parents.
- January 28: we will distribute the Course Registration Sheets to students.
- January 29: Online Registration window opens.
- February 5: the Online Registration window closes.

The This Week News announced their boy’s basketball Super 7 preseason poll late last week. Westerville North is ranked #1! The Warriors opened the season last Friday with a 57-42 victory at #3 Newark. The Warriors next game is Tuesday at home against Grove City.
