Last night, we celebrated the many achievements of the Class of 2017 at the "Senior Evening of Excellence"!  A truly impressive class indeed!

This event could not have been a success without the dedication and help of so many people--too many to list here!  Suffice it so say that all of your hard work is deeply appreciated!  The evening was a smashing success!

For those of you who are still in need of the evening's program, this is the link:

Please join us in celebrating the Class of 2017 on Tuesday, May 9, during the "Senior Evening of Excellence"!  The spotlight will "shine" on this multi-talented group at 7:00 p.m. in the school's auditorium.  Seniors are asked to report to the auxiliary gym by NO LATER than 6:30 p.m. for check-in and line up.  They should also wear their graduation gowns.

Immediately following the ceremony, the festivities continue with a dessert reception in the gallery, due in part to the generous donation from the Class of 2017!

This is always a fantastic night of reflection and memories...and a great send-off to these graduates as they embark upon the next chapter of life's adventures!

On Wednesday, May 3, we will have our final General meeting of the 2016/17 school year!  Please join us at 6:00 p.m. in the school's Front Office conference room as we tie up loose ends for this year and start talking about next year...including voting on the Slate of Officers that was presented during April's meeting!  Although we are in the "home stretch", we still have some pretty big things happpening in the next few weeks!  Hope to see you there!

AP testing will be conducted from 5/1 through 5/11, with just under 600 students signed up to participate.  This is where WE come in!  Your help is desperately needed in two ways:  Providing an "extra set of eyes" by proctoring and supplying healthy snacks for these young people as they undertake these important and rigorous tests!  If you can proctor, please visit  ASAP to view the opportunities available.  In addition, we are accepting donations of water, juice boxes, granola bars, and cheese/peanut butter cracker packets.  We will also gladly accept monetary donations to purchase perishable items (fruit, string cheese, etc.) and to supplement the donation efforts. Please send your items to the Front Office by WEDNESDAY, APRIL 26.

Don't forget...state testing will be conducted for students in the 2018-2020 class starting this Monday, April 10.  ALL STUDENTS are operating under a modified schedule of some sorts.  Please see the schedule that is posted in the "Daily Announcement" portion of the school's website--it has been published every day this week as a reminder.  In addition, the students' teachers and advisors have been discussing this in class.

Good Luck to All!

Future Warrior Night was a huge success--many of our new families and students stopped by our table to hear about the WONDERFUL ways that we support the school and, most importantly, our students!  A huge "shout-out" to Nancy McFarland, Cheryl Bergsman, Mollie Lynch, and the others that represented Academic's always fun to meet new friends!  Welcome to our incoming Freshmen!  We're excited to have you here!

We are so proud of the new 2017/18 National Honor Society inductees!  Sixty-three very deserving students were celebrated at last night's Induction Ceremony--extremely impressive group!  We are looking forward to continuing our collaboration with this talented organization.  They've added so much insight to our meetings and events over the past two years--here's to a fantastic year with another group of talented young adults!  "YOU HOLD THE KEY TO YOUR SUCCESS!!"

We'd like to extend our sincere congratulations to Dr. Ben Hartnell--Westerville's North's GEM winner!!  His positive impact and colorful inspiration can be felt on a daily basis, as he truly embodies the "Warrior Way" and lives it in so many ways!  We are incredibly proud to call you "one of our own" Dr. Hartnell!
