Student Clubs & Athletics
NHS: Bring dues and a bag of candy to the front office. Also sign up to sell candy-grams as soon as possible.
Sci-Fi Club: There is a Sci-Fi Club meeting tomorrow 2/7 at 2:15pm in room 240. We'll be discussing our next movie day!
Dodgeball: The dodgeball tournament has been rescheduled for 3/8 at 5:00pm. Don't wait, only the first 20 teams to register will be included. See Mrs. Baryon for registration forms.
Battle of the Books: There is a Battle of the Books meeting today 2/6 after school in the WLC. There is still room on the team; any interested students are welcome.
Art & Writing Group: There is an Art & Writing Group meeting tomorrow 2/7 after school in the WLC. All creative types are welcome!
Baseball: There is a pre-tryout informational Baseball meeting on 2/11 at 2:05pm in Coach Ring's room.
Astronomy Club: There is an Astronomy Club meeting today 2/6 after school in room 238 to talk about black holes. Come join us!
Warrior Warehouse: Class of 2023 students can purchase WNHS shirts on the Warrior Warehouse website. Orders are due by 2/17. Contact Amanda Mosely with questions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Spread the Word: Spread the Word t-shirt orders have been extended until 10th period on 2/11. Please help support a great cause!
International Club: There is an International Club meeting tomorrow 2/7 at 2:15pm in room 306.
Scholarships: Delaware Republican Women's $1K Application 3/15. Delaware Foundation Scholarship 3/4. Stolly Insurance Scholarship 3/1. National Coalition of 100 Black Women Scholarship (Pupil Services). Suddendorf Music Scholarship.

Options: There is an informational meeting on options after high school today 2/6 at 6:30pm in the WPAC for 10th & 11th grade parents to hear from colleges, trade reps & military reps. Feel free to come early to speak with them!
GEM: To nominate an adult in our school community who goes above and beyond in the lives of WNHS students, pick up Great Educator Mentor (GEM) Award nomination form from Mrs. DeSalle in the front office (due back 2/11).
Journalism 2: The deadline to apply for Journalism 2 has been extended until 2/8. Please see Ms. Hines in room 124 ASAP for an application.
Conferences: Parent-Teacher Conferences are on 2/6 & 2/7 from 5:00-8:30pm. There is no school on 2/8. The window to sign up for conferences is now closed -if you still want a conference, contact the teacher directly.
Gap Year: Those interested in taking a gap year can attend USA Gap Fairs to learn about gap year options. Visit their Website for more info.
