Student Clubs 

Sci-Fi Club: There is a Sci-Fi Club Movie Night on 10/25 at 2:15pm in room 240. We will be watching The Quiet Place, so contact Jonathan and bring some snacks!

Good Government: There is a Students for Good Government Club meeting on 10/31 at 2:15pm. Club meets every other Wednesday. Food, drinks, and conversation will follow!

Gay-Straight Alliance: There is a GSA meeting on 10/29. There is no meeting today 10/22.

Interact Club: The Interact Club is selling Boo-Grams during lunches this week and next for all those who like candy and like their friends. They will be delivered in advisory on 10/31, and the money raised benefits breast cancer awareness. 

Pupil Services 

ACT: Students taking the ACT test on 10/27 must bring a valid ID card and admission ticket to the test site at 7:45am. 11/2 is the last day to register for the 12/8 ACT at www.actstudent.org.

USO Fundraiser: The USO is collecting donations until 11/20 in advisory classes. Those who donate are entered for a chance to win four tickets to COSI, the Columbus Zoo, or a Blue Jackets game. 

Dress Drive: KIPP Columbus High is collections formal-wear donations. If you have dresses, suits, ties, jewelry, or shoes that you would like to donate, please bring them to the box in the front office!

Engineering: There is a meeting tomorrow 10/23 at 6:30pm for 9th graders interested in Engineering at the DACC. See your counselor to register. 

Application Week: 10/29-10/31 is college application week. Counselors will be available during lunch & study hall in the Pupil Services office to help answer questions. College reps will also be there during lunch.


College Athletics: Those interested in participating in athletics at the college level are invited to a free seminar today 10/22 at 7:00pm in the WPAC.

PowderPuff: There is a PowderPuff game on 11/2 at 7:00pm. Come out and support fellow classmates and staff! The entry cost is $5. Lets bring back this tradition of fun for all involved!

Marching Band: Congratulations to the North Marching Band for qualifying and advancing to OMEA State Finals at the Springfield Contest on 10/20. The band will perform on 10/27 at Hilliard Bradley for finals.
