General

International Festival: The International Club would like to invite all students and staff to the International Festival on Tuesday, March 18th during all lunch periods.  Come and enjoy the food and fun from a variety of different cultures.  If students would like to learn more about the International CLub, they can contact Mrs. Cameron (room 306) or come to the meetings on Thursdays after school in room 306.

Police Youth Academy: The Westerville Division of Police is holding a Youth Police Academy July 7th - 11th from 4-9 p.m.  Please see Officer Dross for more information!

PSEO/Dual Enrollment Meeting: On Tuesday, February 25th there will be an informational meeting to discuss the Post Secondary Options Enrollment (PSEO)/Dual Enrollment (DE) programs.  The PSEO/DE program allows eligible Ohio high school students to earn college credit and/or high school graduation credit through the successful completion of college courses. This meeting will be held in the Westerville South Auditorium at 7:00 p.m. and interested students and their parents are invited to attend.

Willy Wonka Tickets: The Westerville North Theatre and Music Departments will be presenting Willy Wonka beginning on February 27th and running through March 2nd.  Click here to get your tickets. Tickets will also be sold during lunch periods next week.

Yearbook: During advisory next week, yearbook will be taking pictures in the gallery for Class Officers (Tuesday) and Ski Club (Wednesday).

Sports

Baseball: Reminder to all baseball players, you must have a physical completed and on file in order to try-out on February 24th.  If you do not have one completed, you will not try-out.

Girls Lacrosse: Are you a girl looking for a fast paced and fun spring sport? The Girls Lacrosse team begins practices on February 24th and we welcome anyone that wants to give it a try.  No prior lacrosse experience is needed to join our team.  Please contact the head coach, Chip Walston, talk with any of our players, or see the Athletic Director, if you have questions.

Softball: Reminder for anyone interested in trying out for softball:  Tryouts will begin Monday, February 24th, time to be determined, and your physical must be turned in before you can try out.

Clubs

Book Group: Please join the Westerville North Book Group in reading Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell.  Set in 1986, Eleanor and Park is a stopry of an unlikely first love between two outsiders.  We will meet to discuss the book after school on Monday, February 24th in the Media Center. All are welcome.

FCA: FCA meets every Thursday at 6:45 a.m.  Come enjoy fellowship and donuts, see you there!

In the Know: Does a fast paced game of knowlege and quick recall sound like fun?  Does playing a "Jeopardy" style game as a team sound interesting?  Then "In the Know" is for you!  The first round of tryouts for next year's In the Know team will be held on Thursday, February 27th from 2:00 - 3:00 in Mr. Johnston's room (246). Any freshman or sophomore is eligible to try out.  See Mr. Johnston if you have any questions or if you're interested but can't make it.

Key Club: Our meeting for today has been moved to next Thursday, February 27th.  We will NOT meet today after school.
