Naviance & PowerSchool Information
Dear North Parents/Guardians,
The counselors send quite a bit of information to students and parents via Naviance. We want to make sure that you have access to this information as well.
Naviance is the districts selected program to assist students in preparing to be college and career ready. Naviance also is a tool seniors use to request and send transcripts to colleges.
In order to ensure you are receiving the most up-to-date information there are a few things you can do. The first step is to make sure you have set up your parent/guardian portal through PowerSchool. The second step is to make sure your email address is up to date. You can verify this by going to the Account Preferences tab in the PowerSchool portal. This is where you can also update your email address. The third item is to ensure you have signed up for your respective child's co-hort announcement. Counselors are divided by last name alpha, but we are also assigned to a co-hort based on our whole school duties. To sign up for Remind, text the respective code to 81010. The Remind codes are:
Cohort 2019 (Seniors) - @2019wnhs
Cohort 2020 (Juniors) - @wnhscl2020
Cohort 2021 (Sophomores) - @2021wnhs
Cohort 2022 (Freshman) - @2022wnhs
Lastly, click here for directions on how to access Naviance Student through the parent/guardian PowerSchool portal. Please know some items in Naviance Student will not allow you to complete as it is intended for the student's to complete (such as the surveys). If your child has completed a survey you will then have access to see the results.
