General

Juniors and Seniors: These colleges will be here to see you this week.  Sign up in the Guidance Office to see what they have to offer you.

  • Wednesday - Mount Vernon Nazarene University, and Allegheny
  • Thursday - Hiram College, University of Toledo, and The Ohio State University

Marching Band: Congratulations to the Marching Band on another successful competition.  On Saturday, the band traveled to Kentucky to compete in the Simon Kenton Classic.  After a spectacular performance in the rain, they were awarded first place in their class as well as winning the best Music, Visual, General Effect, Percussion, and Color Guard Awards.  Congratulations on a great day!

Music Accomplishments: Congratulations to Alana Reese on a wonderful performance this weekend with the Columbus Symphony Youth Orchestra.  Alana is a member of an elite group consisting of some of the finest high school orchestral players in the Columbus area. Congratulations on a marvelous performance!

PSAT/PLAN/EXPLORE: There are still tests available, so if you are interested in taking the PSAT (11th graders); PLAN (10th graders); or EXPLORE (9th graders) and would like to register, the Guidance Office will take registration forms on a first come, first serve basis until there are no longer tests available.

Sports

Swimming: There will be meeting for the WNHS Swim team on Wednesday, October 23rd at 7:00 p.m. in the Media Center.

Clubs

Book Group: We will meet today at 2:15 in the Media Center to discuss The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

In the Know: Be sure to watch the Warrior In the Know team as they take on DeSales HIgh School!  You can catch it on TV tomorrow night at 7:30 on WOSU.

Key Club: We need volunteers for babysitting at Hawthorne Elementary on October 17th from 7:00-8:00.  See an officer or Mrs. Bishop to sign up!

NHS: We will meet today at 2:15 in the commons.

Ski Club: There will be an informational Ski Club meeting for parents and students this Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the Media Center.  The first 50 skiers and boarders to sign up are guaranteed spots on the bus.  Ski you on Wednesday!

Video Game Development Club: The Video Game Development Club is a place where all people of all skill levels come together to make something great.  Come to the meeting this afternoon at 2:15 in the Media Center.  

Wild Warbots: Interested in engineering, electronics, computer programming, or power tools? Interested in public speaking, marketing, or design? Come to the Westerville Wild Warbots High School Robotics meeting TONIGHT at 7:00 in the Westerville Central High School Media Center.  Learn about our upcoming season, meet the team, and see the robot in action.  All students and parents are welcome!  See Mrs Baumann in room 123 with questions.  For more information about the FRC robotics program, click here.
